Experience
Neal brings a wealth of experience to his role as a Coach and Facilitator, with a distinguished career spanning over 28 years as an HR practitioner, culminating in HR Director positions within blue-chip multinationals.
For the past 11 years, he has specialised in Learning and Organisational Development, notably serving as the Lead Learning Partner at the University of Manchester from 2016 to 2025. During this tenure, Neal was instrumental in launching the Inspiring Leaders Programme, which saw 250 senior leaders participate over three years, and in developing the University’s Leadership Framework.
His previous roles include HR Director at Tata Chemicals Europe (2009–2012) and Unilever IT Global Solutions (2006–2009).
Neal has also contributed as a Non-Executive Director at the Royal Bolton NHS Foundation Trust (2014–2017) and the Manchester Camerata chamber orchestra (2013–2019).
